Art Exhibitions
Temple
state developed and toured a collaborative art installation entitled
Satellite Shrine. The installation involved the work of many artists,
craft persons and theater technicians. Theses collaborators were invited
to create a concentric or circular artwork, then the pieces were laid
out in seven radiating centers spaced along an axis symbolic of the
human spine. Clint Hurrell toured the installation around Australia to major cites, regional
towns and alternative spaces, where the
rings of art work were combined in different ways to suit each venue.
Temple
state gained a reputation for
involving
professional
creative people in multi media projects aimed at theatrically
presenting fine art.
